A common error of novice writers is the “run on”
sentence.
A quick way to identify a run on sentence is to check and
see if the sentence takes up over three
lines of typed text.
In which case, separate the sentence into two different sentences. This may also help you with the MEAL method of writing which requires a minimum of 4 sentences per paragraph
